Job Description and Job Duties

Consult with business users to gather information about specific needs, objectives, functions, features, input and deliverables. Travel/relocate to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. to interact with clients and train users for different short- and long-term assignments. Develop JAVA code and deploy on/configure IBM WebSphere servers. Analyze user requirements and define testing specifications. Develop Web services written in SOAP and create WSDL for web services. Participate in the deployment of the applications into existing systems and databases. Debug developed applications using Rational Software Architect (RSA). Deploy code using MAVEN build. Develop test cases for unit testing, mock testing and integration testing using the SCRUM development methodology. Utilize the following tools and technologies: SQL, Java, J2EE, Groovy/Grails, HTML, WebSphere, Jenkins, SOAP, RSA REST and DB2.

Special Requirements

Must have Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering plus three (3) months of experience in the job offered or as a Developer

Must have three (3) months of experience in all of the following:

  1. SQL, Java, J2EE, RSA;
  2. Groovy/Grails, HTML, WebSphere; and
  3. Jenkins, SOAP, REST and DB2.
